2008 Mountain 2 Metro Wrap-Up

Friday Night Kicked-Off the Mountain 2 Metro Games in the Downtown Amphitheater for ‘Best of Fest’ of Utah's High Adventure Mountain FilmFestival, live snakeboard and Kahuna board exhibitions, Urban Cross Bike Race in the park, and some groovy tunes and giveaways! People of all walks came to Downtown Ogden's Historic 25th Street to be entertained watching anti-gravity acrobat stunts, aerial flips on skateboards and to soak up the good energy!

Saturday was the BIG Party featuring Venues around town including Bingham's Cyclery Bike Criterium, the “Show us your rack” gear swap, Striders 7 trail run, Ogden Downriver Kayak Race, Tramp and Ramp Demos, Fly Fishing Clinics and more.

The streets were alive with the sounds from two seperate 25th Street stages featuring 5 bands and School of Rock throughout the afternoon. When the sun was retiring for the evening after blessing us with an incredible day, tunes from Boston headliner Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers echoed down the sun drenched, historic brick façades of Utah’s coolest street.

There were activities for All - Cool, unique and free family activities, street performers, funky shopping and fabulous fall vibes. The kids’ even strutted their stuff during the Kids Crit, and street races!
