Ogden_Marathon_Poster_Contest

The GOAL Foundation is pleased to invite artists to participate in the 2011 Ogden Marathon Art Show and Poster Contest to be held September 1st – September 28th at Ogden’s Historic Union Station. Artwork will be displayed in Gallery 51 and the show will open with the First Friday Gallery Stroll, September 3rd from 6pm-8pm.

One piece will be selected and the artist will be awarded $500 in exchange for the right to use the image for promotion of the 2011 Ogden Marathon. The selected painting will be used as the 2011 Ogden Marathon poster. It will appear on the Ogden Marathon website and on the front cover of the Ogden Marathon Runner’s Guide, distribution of 7000. The winner will be announced at the Harvest Moon Celebration on September 25th, time TBD.

Two pieces of original art may be submitted. There is no charge for submitting.
